There is something very special about the people who make up Family Life. Perhaps this special something is best communicated by our “Real People - Real Life - Real God” theme.

Real People? We are from a myriad of cultural, economic and educational backgrounds. We represent a broad scope of the population in this metropolitan area. We like to say that we are just normal people who have found a life-changing relationship with God.

Real Life? The fact of this relationship with God does not save us from the realities of life. We are all, in our own ways, facing the intense challenges life presents. Marriage. Family. Singleness. Careers. Dealing with success. Dealing with setbacks. Real life stuff. We believe, however, that Christianity should empower us to deal with life in a way that helps us realize all of the potential that God has planned for each of us.

Real God? We are Real People dealing with Real Life but we have experienced the difference that a Real God can make. We believe strongly that God wants to have a relationship with each of us as individuals. We are not interested in just talking about the theory of God, but rather knowing him in a way that is available to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ. He is a Real God who wants to participate in each of our lives.

So, Family Life Christian Fellowship is a place, or perhaps a network of relationships, that facilitates regular people facing the challenges of life with the meaning and power that comes from having a relationship with a loving God.

What are Family Life’s Core Values?

“Core values” are simply a declaration of what we believe to be vital at Family Life Christian Fellowship.

“Core values” are similar to the divider lines on the road…they help keep us on track and remind us when we get out of bounds.

“Core values” can be analogized to a river bank…they don’t impede the flow of ministry, but they do guide it in a certain direction

  What are Family Life’s Beliefs?

The statement that we use to describe our

·        In essential beliefs we have UNITY.

·        In non-essential beliefs we have LIBERTY

·        But in all of our beliefs we show LOVE.
